The Fifth Pillar
Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is a mandatory act of worship (at least once in a lifetime) for every adult Muslim who is physically, mentally and financially able to undertake it.
It takes place every year in Saudi Arabia during a specific period of the Islamic calendar. Miqât Voyages assists pilgrims throughout the completion of their pilgrimage.
Our services include the organisation of groups, spiritual preparation before departure, individual guidance and group coordination, mandatory vaccinations, visa applications, air and ground transportation, accommodation in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, reservation of tents in Mina and Arafat, and more.
Umrah
Spirituality and discovery
Umrah, also known as the “minor pilgrimage”, takes place in Saudi Arabia throughout the year outside the Hajj season. The journey usually lasts between 8 and 10 days on-site. It can be performed with family, in groups or as part of educational trips.
We recommend travelling during the month of December due to the cooler weather conditions. Several guided visits are organised during the stay. Children can enjoy various leisure facilities, while women can benefit from the many shopping centres available nearby.

Before departure for Hajj, we provide several days of preparation sessions designed to teach or remind future pilgrims of all the important stages they will experience during this spiritual journey.
